I have suffered from Rheumatoid Arthritis for 22 years, from the age of 24 . The conventional medication got stronger as the years progressed and the side effects began to make me quite ill until I had no quality of life.Then I read about Coral Calcium in a magazine and thought I would give it a try. I started on two bags a day and gradually built up the dose to the six little bags daily – 5 in 1.5litres of water and then one in all my other drinks. With a severe condition such as RA one has to take the maximum dose before it will work properly. My condition began to improve and gradually my joints became more supple. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer 12 years ago. At the time I refused surgery and chose instead to take large quantities of food supplements daily. I had problems with my stomach for the past 15 years. I would get stomach pain, gas and tenderness. It would last 2 to 3 days at a time and usually every 2 to 3 weeks would recur. The pains have gotten so bad that my breathing would become shallow.

Hi, my name is Karan and at 41, I was diagnosed with a textbook case of Fibromyalgia and Chronic Miofascial Pain. Being an active person, this was very difficult news. Talk about changing your life! After an automobile accident several years ago, I developed arthritis in my neck, lower back and hands. I started taking HTN's Alka-Line Coral Calcium in October 1995 and was surprised when in about three weeks, my pain and sticky joints were nearly gone. I had to write and tell you about the fantastic results I'm getting by using HTN products. I have had multiple sclerosis for over ten years. Prior to using any HTN products I had fatigue and was able to walk only short distances (10-15 feet). At least once a month, for the last 2-3 years, I experienced kidney and bladder infections. Dr. Bernice Jones-Williams, an HTN Executive Director, works with her husband Cornelius in Mount Clemens, Michigan. She has Ph.D.'s in clinical psychology and theology. Dr. Williams has spent many years working as a psychologist after a 12-year career as a Registered Nurse. Her experiences with our Assimilator product has brought her to HTN on a full-time basis.
Dr. Williams has been afflicted with Sickle Cell Anemia since birth. Sickle Cell Anemia, an inherited and often fatal blood disease, causes abnormally shaped red blood cells. This results in a very severe and lifelong form of anemia (reduced oxygen-carrying capacity of the blood).
Sickle Cell Anemia, present in 10% of Afro-Americans, occurs about once in 400 births. With a sickle cell gene from one parent, the individual's red blood cells contain 25% to 35% of sickle cell hemoglobin and 65% to 75% of normal hemoglobin A. This person is a "healthy carrier" of the sickle cell gene. When genes come from both parents, a "double dose" of the recessive gene, no hemoglobin A is formed. When oxygen has been removed by the body's tissues, dissolved hemoglobin in red blood cells stiffen into needle-shaped crystals, curving the normally pliable disc into an elongated, hard "sickle" shape. The sickle cells have a life span of about two weeks.
Sickle Cell Anemia's major danger is the propensity to crisis. With fever, dehydration, insufficient oxygen, or a disturbance of the body's acid balance, the number of sickle cells greatly increases. They become log-jammed in small blood vessels, completely blocking flow and preventing oxygen from entering. Then more red blood cells stiffen. Tissues suffer from lack of blood flow, excruciating pain develops, and areas of tissue may die. A sickle cell crisis is difficult to treat. The patient needs adequate water to prevent or correct dehydration, and often transfusions of normal red blood cells are required.
How does HTN play a part in helping people with Sickle Cell Anemia?
Dr. Williams explains, "I have been so excited since I attended the HTN National Conference in Reno, Nevada and learned about Assimilator. I was one of many people who volunteered for a demonstration where a sample of my blood was taken and projected on a TV screen, using a darkfield microscope. The microscope showed severe clumping and stacking of my red blood cells and inactivity of others. Chronic pain was something totally new to me. I never got ill, not even a cold. My friends kept telling me my symptoms sounded like Lyme's Disease. Because I wanted so much to be able to just take antibiotics and rid my body of the agony, I made an appointment with a physician. This is just a quick testimony of what HTN's products have done for me. I have been hospitalized twice in the past six years for major clinical depression. A years and a half ago I was diagnosed an a manic depressive. I have been on medication for two years, and those meds made me feel as if nothing were quite right. As of April, 1997, I was on eleven pills a day, Prozac, Lithium, Ris perdol, Tegretal, Trazidone, Zyprexa, Haldol, and four others that I don't remember. Because of these meds I gained fifty pounds!
In June I was introduced to Coral Calcium and Metabolizer 2000XTRA. By my July appointment my doctor thought that I was doing so well I could stop taking Haldol and one other medication. I skipped my August appointment because I was feeling so glad. ( I hadn't missed an appointment in two years and usually go one to three times a month)
In August, I started taking HTN's Mindset product, and in September I was take of Tegretal. My doctor also decreased my dosage of Prozac. In October, I was taken off Trazidone. By November, I was taking only Zyprexa and Lithium! I had asked my HTN distributor if I should go off my medication to see if the Mindset or Coral Calcium would work alone. I was told to let my doctor watch the effects and gradually decrease my meds as he saw fit. My doctor is now considering taking me off all meds soon.
My mind is no longer foggy, and I don't feel drugged. I must say this past December is the first holiday season I have had in fifteen years without suicidal thoughts and depression. Since using Coral Calcium and Assimilator, the chronic pain in my right shoulder has almost completely disappeared. I find I am gravitating towards salt-free foods.I now run upstairs instead of plodding. This has got to stop as I am very used to plodding.

At the request of Dr. Jeff Bennert I started taking the HTN products: Coral Calcium caplets, ActiVin OPC, Omega 3-60+, Adult Super Food, Silver-Max, Nature's Flora SBOs and C&P-Max for my overall health. HTN's Coral Calcium
Six years ago my life changed drastically, in a Blink of an Eye. I'd like to share my story...
Wednesday, May 4, 1994, at the age of 35, I was working as the account manager for a company in Orlando, FL. I had to get a late order request approved by the manager in the warehouse. He pulled up beside me on his forklift and we discussed the order. Suddenly, the forklift rolled back, right on top of my foot! The manager was then facing the opposite direction, so it took me a few seconds to get his attention so he could back the forklift off my foot. X-rays revealed no broken or cracked bones, but the incident caused massive nerve damage. I contracted a terrible disease called Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD) which is caused by nerve damage. With RSD you are in constant, continual, horrible pain. You suffer from muscle wasting, bone diossification and lost function of the affected limbs. RSD spreads slowly throughout your body and there is no known medical cure.
For the next three years, I went through numerous surgeries (some experimental), enormous amount of epidermal blocks (47 to be exact!), outrageous amounts of medications and still, I ended up in a wheel chair, with my health going downhill.
I was finally referred to wonderful doctor who implanted a Dorsal Column Stimulator into my back, along my spine. This enabled me to get out of the wheelchair, but I was still living on shots of morphine and 4 other medications. My health was progressively getting worse. I always felt bad, had no energy and was still in a great deal of pain, plus I was getting weaker by the day. Ventures outside the house were nonexistent unless it was for a doctor's appointment. The RSD had now spread into 90 percent of my body, so my spirit was being beaten down. For six years, I endured so much misery, knowing each day that the next one would be worse. To cope with the overwhelming pain, they finally implanted a morphine pump.
Recently my cousin, Marilyn Harris from Plymouth, NC, who I believe is one of my guardian angels, sent me some coral calcium and another energizing health product developed by a company in Hampton, VA. I immediately began to actually feel better. A few days went by and I felt even better with increased energy! Boy, did I feel good! I don't know how else to describe it. I had such a feeling of "well-being", and so much energy! About a week later another angel, Roy Parker from Goldsboro, NC, entered my life.
